Unchosen call for ROADSHOW PARTNERS
In February 2013, Unchosen launched the first Human Trafficking Short film competition, inviting amateur and professional filmmakers to make a short film based on one of 8 real life case studies.
See the FILM COMPETITION page for further information.
The winning films will be taken on a roadshow tour from October 2013 until June 2014 to raise awareness around the UK and Ireland. Unchosen is calling for partners from local councils, NGOs, frontline agencies, schools, universities, film festivals, volunteer or faith groups across the country to co-host an event in this roadshow.
It is an opportunity for us to spark debate, engage key frontline agencies and the wider community in tackling human trafficking.
How will the roadshow work?
We will be holding a series of 15 roadshow events across the UK and Ireland working in close partnership with local agencies. The partner organisations can choose what films on which topic they would like to screen in response to the need of their local area. In line with our expertise, we recommend that all film screenings are followed by a Q&A with local anti-trafficking professionals and further supported by information from exhibitors and our ‘How to Respond’ packs.
See our briefing document for further information on how to get involved.
